Medical Weight Loss Program

The New York Bariatric Group has a unifying philosophy that considers the patient's wishes when creating a comprehensive weight loss plan. We see each component of weight loss as a tool, and we aim to apply the right tool to accomplish the goal. By offering medication, gastric balloons, and surgical options, each patient can rest assured that they are receiving the best approach to help them achieve their goal of being healthier. Our physicians utilize the latest evidence-based techniques to benefit our patients with the most up-to-date treatments.

Using our onsite nutritionists, we can create a comprehensive, medically supervised weight loss program tailored to the patient’s individual needs. We offer several different options. For patients who seek rapid weight loss, we utilize carefully developed nutrition products to implement a very low-calorie diet. This diet usually lasts 8 weeks and is an induction phase to jumpstart weight loss. Once complete, our nutritionists help craft an eating regimen for continued weight loss.

Our Medical Weight Loss Program is a Sustainable Approach to Lasting Results with Nutrition, Exercise, and Medication

For patients looking for slower, sustainable weight loss, we devise a diet regimen to help patients permanently alter how they approach food. Using the most recent scientific research on habit change, we will help patients develop a sustainable eating program complemented by an exercise program.

Our comprehensive Medical Weight Loss in NYC & Long Island, & various convenient locations throughout New York & Connecticut incorporates a physician specializing in the use of medication for weight loss, nutritional guidance, and expert fitness assistance. This combination will help ensure all patients receive the right help to reach their weight and personal goals.

Ease of Access

To make it convenient, The New York Bariatric Group has developed a virtual healthcare portal and iPhone/Android app with the ability to make your appointments with the nutritionist. You can have a one-on-one video nutrition session on your phone or computer from the comfort of your home. There are also live streaming nutrition and fitness classes as well as an extensive library of prerecorded videos.

Our comprehensive programs can help you work to achieve your weight loss goals.
